ABIMBOLA

Alright, alright internet explorer. You found me.
The name is Abimbola. A lot of people call me Bodashee (gotta love accidental nicknames that don’t go away).
I put the “M” in marketing, and the "fun" in everything I do, really.
I’ll divulge my life’s secrets if you scroll down.

My biggest secret?

My Career

Marketing guru? Yes. Creative Problem Solver? Definitely. Content Strategist? That’s me!Lol it's so not a secret. Everyone who knows me knows this. I work in Content and Marketing and I’m great at it. (Who doesn't love a good brag disguised as an introduction?)I started in journalism and gained the hands-on experience that formed the basis for my eventual pivot to content and marketing. Since then, I’ve gone on to work with large teams across three continents on a variety of projects.Marketing, Content, and Storytelling with a whole lot of heart. That's the formula I work with.

The Nerd Alert You Didn't Ask For.

My Excel Sheet of Marketing Updates

Full disclosure: I may or may not have an unhealthy obsession with spreadsheets. The marketing world is constantly evolving, so I do a lot of research. I keep a (slightly obsessive) spreadsheet of industry updates, articles, and trends.I’m happy to share everything I find. If you’re interested in the spreadsheet, click on the link below.

My THIRD SECRET

I SPARK JOY EVERYDAY

My life is far from a snoozefest. I do something to spark joy every day. Sometimes it’s a good book, or a cup of ice cream (The one in the picture - I made that at home). I generally enjoy memorable moments. It may sound cheesy, but a happy heart makes for a more creative mind. (And let's face it, nobody likes a grouch).Click to see the thread of the things I do to spark joy.

Love that you're still here.

We should connect

I see you’ve waded through the list of my murky secrets and happen to still be here. Love it!Incredible relationships start with a simple conversation – so I hope you get in touch.I'm always down for a good conversation, especially if it’s about work. (Just promise not to tell my mom about the spreadsheet.)
